Bello Sacks Three Traditional Rulers, Appoints New Ohinoyi , Maigari of Lokoja and Dissolve Cabinet

Governor Yahaya Bello has deposed three traditional rulers and appointed Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje as the new Ohinoyi of Ebira land.

Bello, who made an announcement on Monday valedictory State Executive Council in Lokoja, Kogi state, equally dissolved his cabinet.

Among the three traditional rulers removed were the Ohimege Igu of Koton-Karrfi and Abdulrazaq Isah Koton and replaced with the former House of Assembly member from the area, Alhaji Saidu  Akawo Salihu.

Others were His Royal Highness Sam Bola Ojao, the Olu Mangogo of Magongo and His Royal Highness Samuel Adayi Onimisi, the Obabanyi of Ehima.

The three Traditional rulers were deposed to Rijau, Salka and Doko Local government areas, respectively, in Niger state.

Similarly, the governor had equally announced the appointment of the revered Ojogba of Ife in Omala Local government area, His Royal Highness, Chief Boniface Adejo, from Office indefinitely.

The governor also appointed the new Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Gambo Kebir Maikarfi.
