The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Adams Oshiomhole has been suspended by a Federal High Court in Jabi, Abuja.
The court says on Wednesday that the suspension is pending the determination of a substantive suit.

The order is following an application of interlocutory injunction asking the court to suspend Oshiomhole concerning his suspension in Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress.
The application which was filed by Oluwale Afolabi has Oshiomhole as its first respondent and APC as the second respondent.
Afolabi argued that Oshiomhole is currently suspended by the party and has not challenged his suspension in his state.
Afolabi said that Oshiomhole’s right as a member of the APC is abated and cannot continue to act as a Chairman of the party at the federal level.
He added that as a suspended member of the APC in Edo State, he cannot continue to enjoy the benefits of the APC.
Ruling on Wednesday, the judge Justice Senchi ruled that the first and Second (APC) respondents wrongfully kept Oshiomhole as the party Chairman.
The court then pronounced that Oshiomhole should desist from parading himself as the Chairman of the APC.
He also orders the APC to stop acknowledging him as the Chairman of the party.
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Damian Dodo, is the lawyer representing Mr Oshiomhole and the APC.
In addition, the National Chairman is to be denied access to the party secretariat.
Oshiomhole present predicament emanated from his fracas with the Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki.
After the state suspended the APC Chairman, he brushed it up as invalid, arguing that only the party headquarters have the power to suspend national officers of the party, including the chairman.
