The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Frank Okiye has left the All progressive congress for the people Democratic party (PDP).
The Speaker who represents Esan North Esst Constituency 1 in the state House of Assembly, however confirmed that the formal announcement would be made soon as consultations with stakeholders are still in progress.
Okiye is one of the nine lawmakers of the Assembly loyal to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state.
