The significance of taken a political thuggery to the Palace Of the revered Monarch, Oba Ewuare, II, the Oba of Benin Kingdom,on the Eve of the Campaign Flagoff of the Peoples Democratic Party who was on official Visit to the Oba of Benin, is a Condemnable attempt, says, Chief Dan Osi Orbih National Vice chairman SOUTH-SOUTH Chairman Edo 2020 Campaign Council

The Virtually miffed Chief Orbih who also described the attempt as total disrespect to the Royal majesty and highly respected traditional institution, call on security operatives to depeened into investigating the inferno and bring the perpertrators to book.

In a press statement issued and signed by the PDP Chieftain made available to newsmen in Benin City, call for serious security appraisals over the incident.

He said, "Choosing the Palace to unleash their evil plans is an abomination. We condemn the attack and wanton destruction of PDP members vehicles and property by these hooligans in broad daylight in the vicinity of the Palace of our revered Oba.

Orbih who commends the dexterity of the leadership and members of the party for not going for reprisal and for holding off their own, blamed the Former National Chairman of the Party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for the mayham unleashed on Governor Godwin Obaseki and other Governors who were present at the palace.

"I commend the leaders and members of EDO State PDP and supporters for their maturity yesterday. Who restrained themselves from retaliation in the face of unwarranted attacks and hostilities".

"I want to assure them that the party will not fold its hands and watch members attacked and killed because of their support for Governor Godwin Obaseki," he said.

He assured that Governor Obaseki will not relent in his strides to bring about good Governance.
