Some Constituents of Edo South Senatorial District and the Human Rights Community Have advocated for the immed iate recall and prosecution of the Senator Representing Edo South Senatorial District, Senator Neda Imasuen over what they described as a loss of Confidence and his redundancy in the Senate.

The group made the call on Friday at a press briefing in Benin City.

At a press briefing held in Benin  the leader of the group,  under the aegis of Human Rights Advocates And Concerned Nigerians, Comrade Marxist Kola Edokpayi said the çonference to recall  the Senator Representing Edo South Senatorial District, Senator Neda IMASUEN is to initiate his recall process,  due to his unfitness to repres ent the people of Edo South Senatorial District.

He said since he emerged as a Senator he has not made any positive impact on the people, has no motion and Constituency projects and has been silent on the security situation in Edo South Senatorial District.

They issued a 14-day ultimatum for the authority to act on their demands, which, include a recall process and prosecution for alleged involvement in bank Fraud in the US.

They also urged the National Independent Electoral Commission to immediately initiate verification and set a referendum date for the recall.

He explained that he had done so much as a senator for Edo South people and should be commended instead of chastised.
