Speaking with NAIJA CENTER NEWS on Saturday, the AP candidate said Oshiomhole is afraid of him and not the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

This accusation Is in connection with suit filed by Dr. Samson Isibor who claimed to be the National Secretary, and National State Chairman of the party at different times.

Dr. Isibor, in the suit, is seeking an interim injunction restraining Lawal and Adisa form parading themselves as National Executive Officers of the Accord Party as well as conveying meetings and selling of nomination forms to any aspirant

Defendants in the suit are Lawal Muhammad Nalado, Mr. Nureni Adisa, Don Pedro Obaseki and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Isibor is asking the court to restrain Pedro Obaseki from parading himself as the governorship candidate of the Accord Party for the September 10 governorship election pending determination of the suit.

Information gathered by NAIJA CENTER NEWS indicated that Dr. Samson has not been a member of the party for over three years after he was expelled for taking money from Oshiomhole for endorsement.

Dr. Obaseki who is feeling pushed by Oshiomhole said “ Some imposters, who don’t belong to our party, have been parading themselves. One Samson Isibor, in some situation, he called himself National Secretary but the last couple of weeks now, he called himself National Secretary of Accord Party. This is a man I learned is in the payroll of the State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.

“He has gone to court to get an ex parte motion a few days ago, saying that there is crisis in Accord in Edo State which is not true, and he has gotten a motion saying that the National Chairman of the party cannot submit my name to INEC as the gubernatorial candidate.

“It is obvious from all indications that he is being paid to make sure that Pedro does not get the ticket and Pedro cannot run. I am wondering about Adams Oshiomhole who is using a state fund to persecute the electoral campaign of an individual to now single out a young aspiring Nigerian, a serious person who wants to make a difference with no godfather, who has not stolen Edo people money.

“I am not PDP and I am not APC. APC became too hot, I know they were going to rig and I left and a week later, what I said happened.

“I moved on to a small party that I am trying to build as an alternative, and they have decided that on the last day to get a court injunction stopping INEC from accepting me. So I am wondering why are Oshiomhole and his cohort, whether acting by proxy or directly are bent on stopping the ambition of a 48yr old man like me?

“I am not interested in party affiliations and I have sworn that whatever it takes to get to the finish line, except he is going to put me in a body bag and take me to the mortuary, that is the only reason why I will not run because if he forces my hand, I will make sure that all his dirty linens, things I am privy to that I am very sure Oshiomhole will not want in the public domain, particularly when he is supporting my much older cousin.

“He has never called me, I have never held a meeting with them, he has never made an overturn to me and I refused. Ever since Godwin decided not to take me to Oshiomhole since October last year, I have never had any conversation with them. I don’t insult them, I don’t fight them, I am only interested in Edo people. Election is not a do or die affair, if I win or lose, people get the leadership they deserve.

“They carried rumour that I stepped down from the race, and I heard he was going to block me in Labour. I went to a party that has a relatively low presence in Edo State and trying to build it up.

“All of a sudden, primaries are done, supervised by INEC, now when I should be compensated on my little campaign and low finances, he is trying to stop me from running.

“Why is it that Adams Oshiomhole does not want me to run? I am not Pastor Ize-Iyamu, I don’t have personal problem with him. I have never tented him even when he put his anointed candidate above all of us; I still called him Moses of our time.

“Oshiomhole is not scared of Ize-Iyamu, he is scared of me. He knows if he places me and his puppet on the same pedestrian, I will floor both of them. If I went to school and only to be scared of Oshiomhole who didn’t pay my school fees, I should call to question the veracity of going to school in the first place.

“He doesn’t know me, he thinks he is the only one who is bold, he is behaving like a little low kind corner crook and I am going to go for him. I tried not to insult him because he is my elder but he has pushed me to the wall.

Asked if Dr. Isibor was ever a member of Accord Party, Don Pedro responded “
I heard he was a member of the party till about three years ago, I heard he had something to do with Oshiomhole. I was told he collected money from Oshiomhole over some endorsement he wasn’t permitted to endorse so he was expelled from the party..

“When he claimed to be National Secretary few months ago and now he is claiming to the National state chairman.

“This is a democracy, I just want to run. Oshiomhole came to power on the belief that no man is God and I am telling him now that ‘Oshiomhole, you cannot be God’. He came by saying one man one vote and I am saying ‘Pedro vote and aspiration will count’ irrespective of Oshiomhole feeling otherwise.”
