With less than three weeks to June 22, 2020, fixed for the Primary Election by the National Working Committee, NWC, of the Ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, fascinating and confusing stories have emerged.
The rumour making the round is connected to some prominent members of the ruling All Progressive Congress party in Abuja resorting to employing the service of Voodoo men and gun peddlers ahead of the Primary Election of the party.
The intriguing nature of the storyline is not unconnected with the supremacy powers exhibited by the splinter groups loyal to the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki.

A reliable source who disclosed to Naija Center News said One of the hired voodoo men said their paymasters had resolved to bring down anyone who planned to stay their ways during the Primary Election.
It was also gathered that influx of weapons of mass destruction has continued to find it way ahead of the preliminary Election.

“We have been commissioned by a top profile political figure in APC, to create a crisis and further cause setbacks on the incumbent administration. We would start our job from next week because we have been paid to do so. We are more than four and some of us are already in town. Recall that, since the fall out between the two loyalists group, they have refused to shift grounds as they continue to pounder the political space in the state with statements possible of promoting conflicts among a once trusted union.
In a statement accredited to Governor Godwin Obaseki, he warned the National Chairman of the party to steer clear from the party’s governorship primaries in Edo State as he can’t be a judge in his own case.
Obaseki argued that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has an interest in the forthcoming preliminary election, therefore he should stay off.
As a follow-up of his firm decision warning the National Chairman to abstain, Governor Obaseki has continued to reaffirm his earlier stands to go for the indirect primaries against the direct Choice of the National Working Committee.
This was further gazetted by the Governor in accordance with the rule in a newspaper on Friday to prove his readiness.

Recently, the Electoral umpire, INEC, decried insecurity threats anticipated ahead of the election and warned against bloodletting in Edo State.
This tells more about most politicians with severe character defects exposing their profligacies by imploring Charmed Amulet to the fray.
