The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Party (APC) yesterday sought for the cooperation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the development of the state.
This was contained in a statement by the state chairman of the party, Aslem Ojezua.
“I also take the opportunity to extend my hands of fellowship to my brothers in the PDP to join us in the arduous task of building a robust and self-sustaining local economy that will serve the interest and welfare of our people,” he said.
On the PDP’s plan to appeal the tribunal judgement that upheld the election of Governor Godwin Obaseki, Ojezua advised the opposition PDP to save the state from “the needless torment and distraction” that the protracted legal battle would cost.
