The Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has commended the turnout and enthusiasm of voters in Edo State as he cast his ballot at Ward 4, Unit 19 at Emokpae Model Primary School in Oredo Local Governments Area.
Gov. Obaseki on arrival at his polling unit in Ward 4 Unit 19 at Emokpae Model Primary School in the Oredo local government area was accredited with the BVAS Machine and subsequently cast his ballot at 11:57 am.
In an interview with journalists, Gov. Obaseki described the conduct as smooth and commended the enthusiasm of eligible voters in his unit who defied the rains to come out to cast their ballot.
Gov. Obaseki, after casting his ballot, also went around some parts of Egor, Oredo, and Ikpoba Okha, which are local government areas, to assess the security situation across the city.
Edo gubernatorial election held across the one hundred and ninety-two wards across the state.
