A former governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Wamakko visit the state today attracted thousands of supporters across the state, the party alleges.

However, NAIJA CENTER NEWS gathered that the APC Stewart and his political parties hired crowed from six northern states.
According to the information gathered, each attendee was given N2000 and the crowd was brought from Kebbi, Katsina, Kano, Zamfara and residents of Kaduna State.
It was a Northwest Rally but one of the mission was to prove that Sokoto state belongs to Buhari and the APC and not Waziri Tambuwal who has indicated an interest in running for the Presidency ahead of 2019.
Speaking at the rally, Wamakko threatened that those who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party will surely regret their actions.
The former governor stated this on Saturday at a rally in support of President Muhammadu Buhari and APC organised by their loyalists, in the wake of the defection of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to PDP from the ruling APC on Aug. 1.
Renting crowd is as old as the Nigerian political system, however, the recent turn of event is more of a competition than the purpose it initially serves.
Few days after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki tested his popularity in Kwara State, the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed did the same, showing off the crowd to inform Saraki that the state still belonged to APC.
