Governor Okpekholo Asked EDHA To Initiate Probe On Two Establishment Linked To Former Governor Obaseki

The Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpeholo, has requested the legislative arm to initiate an investigation into two critical projects by the previous administration, namely the Radisson Blue Hotel and the Museum of West African Art.

During plenary the request letter was presented before the lawmakers from the Executive Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo to carry out A thorough oversight investigation on Radisson Blue Hotel on Golf road and the Museum of West African Art on Exoti off Airport road and also to invite the respective contractors and all bodies associated to the projects to ascertain their budgets and the Edo state government stake in each of the projects.

According to the speaker, Blessing Agbebaku, “we have a letter from the state governor addressed to Mr Speaker asking that the house should initiate an investigation into a hotel Radisson Blue which was said to have been built by the previous governor and in addition the museum of west Africa arts and to ascertain the level of government stake in the both establishment.”
