Grandchild of Popular Ibadan politician, Adelabu declare Governorship interest

Former Deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Chief Bayo Adelabu,had recently come out to declare his intentions to occupy the Agodi Secretariat beyond 2019, The Grandchild of the foremost Ibadan Born great Politician, Adelabu Adegoke, popularly known with the Alias ‘Penkelemeesi’ (Peculiar Mess) made this known recently in Ibadan, Oyo State capital succeeding the incumbent Governor, Isiaka Abiola Ajimoba under the Umbrella of All Progressive Congressive APC.

Adelabu, who recently resigned His appointment with the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN as the Deputy Governor of the Bank in other to be able to dedicate more time for his Political campaigns is the Chairman of the Oyo State Security Trust Fund committee.

While visiiting the Ibadan South East APC Secretariat and the Oyo APC Party Secretaria at Oke Ado with his followers, Adelabu explained that his entrant into active politics will not be for personal or selfish purpose, but to offer quality service that will enhance the living standard of the masses in the pacesetters state, which he tagged “live and let live”.

“No sacrifice is too much for my People. I just left the CBN as the deputy governor, not because I am old nor tired; not because I cannot continue. But as a Sacrifice for my State and no sacrifice is too much for one’s state”.

Among the places He visited was the visited the graveside of his grandfather, Chief Adelabu Adegoke.
