- Signs a bill to break Kano Emirates into five
Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has further reduced the domain controlled by the Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi.
The governor asset to a bill passed by the Kano House of Assembly on breaking the Emirates in the state.
This simply means that Kano now has five emirates: Kano, Rano, Gaya, Karaye and Bichi which invariably means that Emir Sanusi’s domain has been reduced.
