Kogi Youth Council Urges President Tinubu To Revive Ajaokuta Steel, Other Ailing Companies

As the Nigerians continue to battle with the hard times arising from dwindling economic fortunes in the country, the youths in Kogi State have called on President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to, as a matter of urgency, revive the ailing Ajaokuta Steel Company and other moribund industries in the country to alleviate the suffering of the masses.

Acting Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi State Chapter, Comrade Osiako Ezekiel Sunday, stated this in Lokoja on Monday.

The Youth Council said the resuscitation of the ailing companies across the country will help reduce the youth unemployment crisis.

He charged the President to re-focus on industrializing the country, which he believed would curb the insecurity and improve the lives of the common people.
