The Lagos State Government has selected Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, an ex-head of the state’s chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, as the chairman of its Parks Management Committee.
Hakeem Odumosu, a former Assistant Inspector General of Police, has been designated as the government’s liaison officer with the committee.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, issued a press statement titled “Lagos govt sets up Parks Management Committee.

Dr. Taiwo Salaam, an ex-Permanent Secretary, was also named as the committee’s secretary, with Sulyman Ojora as the Deputy Chairman.
Members of the committee will report to the Ministry of Transportation, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.
