The 'Integrity Group', has replied a media report by a former Minister of Mines and Power, Elder Oyelese against Rasheed Ladoja.

The former Minister was reportedly describing the former governor Rashidi Ladoja as unfortunate and a “outburst of a scavenging, paperweight, and completely worthless politician” .

The group said only if Oyelese had the feat of Ladoja’s achievement in the State and National politics. It was this same man that was begging Seyi Makinde for a senatorial ticket under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2015 election.
The statement that was signed by leaders of the group, a member of the state House of Assembly, Honourable Fatai Adesina; Alhaji Kunle Busari; and Honourable Yinka Omikunle.

The Integrity Group alleged that Oyelese was given N120million by Makinde's SDP for electioneering as a senatorial candidate for Oyo Central in the 2015 election, but could only garner 7, 362 votes for the huge amount of money given to him.

Emphasising the relevances of Ladoja in the state's politics, the group said it is wherever Ladoja goes, that the people of the state will go in 2019, God-sparing us. Come 2019, we will see clearly on whose side the masses are.

Taking Oyelese down the memory lane, the group stated that Ladoja produced 4 members at House of Representatives and 7 members at the House of Assembly in the state in the 2011 elections. In 2015, he also produced eight House of Assembly members. How many councilors has Oyelese produced?

Come next election, by God’s grace Ladoja will produce the next governor in Oyo State.

“2019 is around the corner, and we know that Oyelese is desperately in need of filthy lucre to weight his lean purse. Perhaps, if he is done with his current assignment, he will be handed another senatorial ticket in SDP, again with probably double the amount he got in 2015.

“We hereby adviced Oyelese to save the face of his fading political career by contesting for councillorship election in His to test his political might in Erunmu before hoping to represent a district that cut across Ibadan, Oyo and Ogbomosho.
