The group also boasted that the presidential contest would be an easy ride for Tinubu to win based on the projection that ‘he already has millions of votes in his pocket’.

The Chairperson of the group, Senator Adedayo Adeyeye said this on Friday, October 8, 2021, while speaking on Channels TV’s ‘Politics Today’ programme.

Bola Tinubu's presidential ambition in 2023 has never been in doubt even though the former governor of Lagos State has yet to declare his intention to contest.

In the meantime, the former governor of Lagos state returned to the country on the evening of Friday, October 8, 2021, after spending three months in the United Kingdom, where he underwent knee surgery.

A statement by his media office stated that Tinubu had surgery on his right knee, and also underwent physiotherapy after the operation.
