Tribunal humbles Gov Bello As Natasha reclaims Mandate in Kogi

Election Petitions in Kogi State has outrightly sacked another Senator of All Progressive Congress, APC, Engr. Abubakar Ohere from Central Senatorial District of the State.

Ohere was the immediate past Commissioner for Works and Housing in Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration.

The tribunal declared the arch-rival of the embattled Governor Bello, Barrister Natasha Akpoti, as the winner of the election.

The Judgement claimed that the election was won by the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and Barrister Natasha Akpoti, following the sufficient evidence presented by the petitioner before the court.

Okene, the ancestral home of the governor and two gladiators has erupted in jubilation following the tribunal pronouncement of Natasha as the winner of the senatorial seat.

Recalled that the declaration of Engr. Abubakar Ohere, by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, during the National Assembly Election as winner of the Kogi Central Senatorial District, was graced with protest by the women and youths from the area.
