Adedipe received 82 votes, Akinyelure 58 votes, and Clement Faboyede 57 votes, according to the chairman of the Electoral Committee, Bekekhimi Idiarhi, who announced the results in Akure.

The exercise was peaceful and was overseen by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a press conference, Adedipe thanked the party's delegates and leadership for guaranteeing a free and fair election.

He pushed the other contenders to see his triumph as a victory for all of them, despite the fact that the task before them was enormous.
