Afcon 2021: Gernot Rohr reveals how People Wanted him to drop Moses Simon
Moses Simon has been on a stellar performance at the ongoing Afcon 2021 tournament in Cameroon with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
So much for the game against Egypt that he was referred to as the tormentor of the Pharaohs. However, former Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has revealed what transpired during his time as Coach.
According to him, some people in the Nigerian football community did not want Simon to join the Eagles during his stay.
As the Eagles prepare to face Guinea-Bissau today, the Nantes player has already created two assists and scored one goal.
"When I was coach, a lot of people wanted me to drop him, but he is very important to my team
