Barcelona Femini and Spain international Mapi Leon could face disciplinary actions for touching an opposing player inappropriately during a Liga F game, Standard Gazette reports.
According to the official website of Espanyol, their player, Daniela Caracas had her privacy violated by Leon, who touched her groin area when both sides met.
The incident happened in the 15th minute of the game of the derby when the players collided while Caracas defended a setpiece in the match.

The Espanyol official website expressed their dismay at the action and wrote as follows: “This is an action that we consider unacceptable and that should not go unnoticed.
“Although Caracas was unable to react at the time…later, when she came to terms with what had happened, she became aware of the seriousness of the gesture but chose not to react angrily to avoid a disciplinary sanction and harm to the team.
The official statement on Monday continues: “We are concerned that, instead of focusing on the act itself, part of the media attention had been diverted to other issues unrelated to the seriousness of the action,” the statement read in part.
Caracas, 27, participated in Colombia’s 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, while Leon, 29, won five leagues and three Champions League titles with the Barcelona Femini.
