DBA Sports, a platform for athletes to develop their skills in Africa, has stopped sponsoring Kenyan sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala.

DB Africa declared in a statement dated September 27, 2021, that they were instrumental in Omunyala’s professional progress.

“We are proud to have played a huge role in enabling him to compete around the continent resulting in attaining four qualifying times for the Tokyo Olympic Games and achieving many national records and personal best,” read part of the statement.

Even though DBA did not reveal the reason behind the latest development, they wished the athlete a successful career in the future.

“We would like to take this opportunity to wish Ferdinand all the best in his future career,” said the association.
