The Kenya Rugby Sevens team, Shujaa, have been grouped in Pool A alongside their African arch-rival South Africa, Spain, and Mexico in the upcoming HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, Vancouver Sevens.
Shujaa will kick off their first leg of the tournament against Spain on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the BC Place Stadium.
On the same day, Innocent Simiyu charges will play Mexico before wrapping up against South Africa the following day.
Kenya 7s will miss the services of skipper Andrew Amonde who recently announced his retirement from the national team.
Shujaa will be eyeing positive results after a disappointing outing during the Tokyo Olympics.
