Football Kenya Federation caretaker committee has suspended five top leagues a day after taking over from disbanded FKF.
Former judge Aaron Ringera-led committee discontinued the Premier League, National Super League, Division One, Women’s Premier League and Women’s Division One Leagues.
Meanwhile, all the leagues running under the branches and sub-branches will continue as normal.
The suspension takes effect today and will last for two weeks.
“The decision has been reached to ensure regularisation of the league activities across the country. The committee will be engaging with clubs and other football stakeholders across the country,” read part of the statement released on Friday
