Football Kenya Federation Premier League champions Tusker FC will tonight take on Egyptian giants Zamalek SC in the return leg of the CAF Champions League second preliminary round match at the Borg El Arab Stadium, Alexandria.

Tusker needs to beat their opponent by two goals to nil to progress to the competition’s group stage. The club suffered a 1-0 defeat in the first leg in Nairobi last weekend.

Anything short of 2-0 will see Kenya’s side eliminated from the elite competition.

Tusker’s captain Eugene Asike said he believes the team can turn the tide in the North African country.

“We learned a lot from the first leg and identified all of the faults we made as a team.” “I believe we will play better than we did in our last game when we face Zamalek on Friday,” he stated.

Asike challenged his teammates to give it their all in Alexandria and be clinical in front of the goal.

“I believe we didn’t take advantage of the few chances we had at home, and in a game of this magnitude, you must take advantage of every opportunity.” “We’ve been brainstorming ways to create more chances and score more goals in the forthcoming game,” he explained.
