Kenya Forest Service FC on Sunday drew 2-2 away to Sporty FC in a thrilling return leg friendly encounter hosted at Tambaya Stadium in Nyeri County, Central Kenya.

This follows a 3-1 home win on Saturday against Kangemi Patriots in the County League.

KFS officials from the county, players and officials from both teams and members of the community engaged in a tree planting activity, planting assorted indigenous tree seedlings around the stadium prior to the commencement of the match.

The planting activity signifies the organization’s ongoing pursuit in employing sports diplomacy through its different sports teams, during their away engagements, so as to foster productive ties in the conservation and rehabilitation of forest ecosystems within communities across the country.
