Super Eagles camp is almost a full house ahead of the kick-off of the 2024 Unity Cup tournament, reports The Standard Gazette.
The three-time African champions will face perennial West African foes, Ghana, on Wednesday, May 28, in their first game of the tournament.
Leading the cast of players in camp ahead of the game on Wednesday at the GT Community Stadium is captain Ahmed Musa who is making a return to the team in 2022.
Other early arrivals in camp are Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon, Cyreil Dessers, Semi Ajayi, Igho Ogbu, Frank Onyeka, Nathan Tella, Felix Agu and Nathan Tella.
Junior Nduka, Ismaila Sodiq Ismaila, Waliu Ojetoye, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Papa Mustapha, Sikiru Alimi, Abubakar Adamu and Collins Ugwueze make up the home-based contingent.
Expected in the team’s camp before the end of Monday are Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Stanley Nwabali, Bruno Onyemaechi, Chrisantus Uche, Maduka Okoye and Omas Obasogie.
The Unity Cup 2025 which holds May 28 -31 is a four-nation tournament that promotes football and cultural unity among African and Caribbean nations.
Nigeria’s first match is on Wednesday evening against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.
The 2025 edition features Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica.
