Odion Ighalo has been included African Best Eleven players from the just concluded 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Despite the Super Eagles of Nigeria finishing the tourney in third place, Ighalo is the only Nigerian in the African best XI named by Confederation of African Football on Saturday morning.

The former Warlord of England striker scored five goals to get the top scorer’s nod in the African football show piece in Egypt.
The recent retired goal poacher leads the forward line with Senegal’s Sadio Mane and Algerian and Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez.
Nigeria won the AFCON bronze medal for the eight times after pipping the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia by 1-0.
