Arsenal denied Liverpool their long-awaited procession as champions in-waiting on Sunday with an emphatic 4-0 win over 10-man Ipswich Town at Portman Road reports The Standard Gazette.

The Gunners last week beat Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate to advance to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League and came into the game buoyed to delay Liverpool’s title celebrations on Easter Sunday.

The Gunners went ahead through Leandro Trossard who later scored another goal in the second half.

Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri were also on target.

Manchester United were beaten 1-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers courtesy of a freekick scored by Pedro Sarabia as the ‘Gold and Black’ claimed their fifth goal on the trot.

The win puts the Wolves at the same points (38) as Manchester United and has thus ensured that they escape a possible relegation from the topflight.

Pedro Neto was the match-winner for Chelsea as they romped to a 2-1 win over a plucky Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The win enhanced Chelsea’s pursuit of a Champions League berth.

Leicester City’s inevitable relegation to the Championship was confirmed on Sunday as they lost 1-0 to Liverpool.

Trent Alexander Arnold grabbed the goal for the Reds in the 76th minute of the game.
