Abuja – The Super Eagles will play a high profile international friendly match with Mexico’s national team in Houston, Texas, U.S. on May 31, a statement said.
The Eagles are the current champions of Africa while the Mexican team are the champions of North and Central America.
Ademola Olajire, Assistant Director, Media, Nigerian Football Association, announced the plan in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday.
It said the match was to prepare the Eagles for their World Cup qualifier with Harambee Stars of Kenya in Nairobi on June 8 before travelling to the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil. (NAN)
