Switzerland beat co-hosts Canada 2-1 on Wednesday evening to finish top of Group B in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ruben Vargas and Manzambi were on target for Switzerland, who finished on six points, while Nigerian -born Promise David got the Canadians their only goal in the 76th minute, barely a few seconds after coming off the substitute bench.
Meanwhile, Bosnia-Herzegovina finished third in Group B on four points in the other Group B game played simultaneously, while hosts of the tournament in 2022, Qatar, who they beat 3-1 on the night, were eliminated.
