Its 2021 and the world seems to be taking the issue of equality to the sporting scene as female transgender athletes are allowed to join the female teams in the US.
While many see this as a welcome development for the purpose of women’s equality, 23 states already made legislation to “save women’s sports”
Many believe as time goes by more girls will not have the opportunity to compete equally with transgender athletes who identify as females.

This is definitely going to be a new norm as deviance of the past become tomorrow’s norms. It is not clear how the involvement of transgender athletes who identify as female in the US will shape the general outlook for sports in a country already divided by ideologies.
With the Biden administration, this is all about inclusiveness as it seeks to undo policies that seek to disallow transgender folks, especially in the military.
