Two Kenyan clubs, Tusker and Gor Mahia FC, were on Sunday, December 5, 2021, bundled out of the Caf Confederation Cup.

Tusker, Kenya Premier League reigning champions, fell 1-0 to SC Sfaxien at Stade Taieb Mhiri- Sfax, Tunis.

Aymen Harzi’s spot-kick in the 35th minute is what separated the two sides following a barren draw in Nairobi last week.

The penalty was awarded after Ghaith Maaroufi was fouled in the box.

Tusker finished the game with one man less following the dismissal of Kalos Kirenge after he received the second yellow card.

On the other hand, Gor Mahia was held in a 1-1 draw by AS Otoho d’Oyo of Congo at Nyayo Stadium Nairobi.

The Congolese charges came into the match with a slim 1-0 advantage from the first leg in Brazzaville.

The former champions found themselves behind in the 10th minute after Roland Okouri netted the visitors’ goal.

However, Gor’s John Macharia restored the parity in the 12th minute.

The two clubs now focus on winning Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
