Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has released his lineup for Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinals second leg clash against Arsenal.
The European champions were shocked 3-0 by the London giants last week at the Emirates stadium in one of the Spanish side’s poorest games in European games.
Desperate to bounce back from the 3-0 aggregate setback, the Madrid side have motivated the squad with several creative means including inviting Pope Francis as well as the duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to the official squad list made available to the media, Luka Modric drops to the bench while Fede Valverde cones into midfield after being deployed at right back in the first-leg defeat.
While Lukas Vazquez takes up the right-back role in tonight’s game, the duo of Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham join Valverde in midfield.
The trio of Vini Jnr, Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe play in attack.
The game kicks off at 8 pm.
