USA’s Kelly Claes and Sarah Sponcil overcame the Kenyan duo Brackcides Agala and Gaudencia Makokha by 21-8, 21-6.
Today’s defeat is the second loss for the Kenyan side after losing their opening match against Brazil by the same margin on Monday.
Kenya’s chances of proceeding to the knockout stage hang in the balance as it depends on other group results.
The East African representative will face Latvia on Saturday in their final group D match.
Elsewhere, the country’s women volleyball team Malkia Strikers have suffered their third defeat in Pool A match at the Tokyo Olympics Games.
Kenyan queens fell 3-0 to Serbia on Thursday morning. Japan condemned Kenya to a 3-0 defeat in their first match on Sunday before losing to South Korea on Tuesday by the same margin.
