Jesse Lingard has been in sensational form this season, just what he showed as England reached the 2018 World Cup semi-finals and made him a regular at Manchester United.
However, he now admits having the thought of quitting football before his loan move to Westham United.

The 28-year-old winger lost his form after the World Cup, losing his place in the Manchester United first team under Ole.
While speaking on a YouTube-based talk show, Jesse Lingard confessed having a meltdown as his mental health deteriorated to the extent he contemplated quitting or at least taking a time-out from the game.
“I could have been like ‘nah, I don’t want to do it, I quit, I give up’.
“But the fight in me always brings me back to life,” he said. Westham United still has a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season and it is partly due to the fine form from the former Manchester United forward.
