A body of a middle-aged woman was found in her home in Kibiko Ngong, south of Nairobi, on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased met her death after traveling all the way from Nairobi to check her farm. Reports indicate that the 58-year-old woman had sent her husband a distress call when she arrived at the farm. In a quick rejoinder, the husband reached out to their neighbours, asking them to check out on his wife, only to find her strangled using a rope and tied to the gardener's bed inside their incomplete bungalow. The area chief confirmed the incident. "It is so sad that neighbors found the woman dead. She was tied to the bed with a rope on her neck. Her clothes were intact, and her car was at the parking," said Chief James Kariuki. The deceased shamba boy is suspected of committing the heinous act before fleeing the scene. Police are investigating the matter.
