A woman and her two daughters, aged 15 and 18, were gang-raped in Kakamega County, western Kenya.

Three men armed with crude weapons are said to have invaded the victims’ home on Tuesday night before committing the heinous act.

Two of the three suspects were arrested, and the third suspect’s hunt is ongoing, said the local authorities.

The three are reported to be part of a gang terrorizing the residents in the area.

The incident came hours after a 50-year-old man in Kisii, southwestern Kenya, was charged for allegedly defiling his stepdaughter.

The court heard that the suspect lured the girl into the bush, sexually abused her and left her bleeding and unconscious.

The victim was rushed to the hospital by her mother, where nurses alerted the police.

The suspect was fished out of his hideout on Sunday, April 11, after being on the run for a week.

He denied the charges and requested to be released on bond, saying he is the breadwinner for his family.
