10th edition of National Police Service Cross Country Championship kicks off in Nairobi

National Police Service Cross Country Championship 2022 kicked off today at Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi.

In a statement, the organizers stated that the event was to be graced by the Inspector General of the National Police Service Mr Hilary Mutyambai accompanied by the Deputy Inspector General- Kenya Police Service Mr Edward Mbugua, Deputy Inspector General- Administration Police Service Mr Noor Gabow, Director of Criminal Investigations Mr George Kinoti among other senior police officers and dignitaries.

“A battle of titans is expected at the event as world-beating and top-notch as well as young and upcoming athletes from 15 teams drawn from regions, units, and formations of the National Police Service square it out,” read part of the statement.

All preparations were in place by Thursday, January 6, 2022.
