A family in Limuru, central Kenya, is mourning following the mysterious death of its two kins.
The brothers, Johnson Karuga, aged 26 years, and Kevin Kimani, 24, went missing on Monday, September 5.
They were residing in Kamulu, 35 kilometers from Nairobi Central Business District. Report indicated that the duo had gone to watch a football match at a club in Joska on Sunday, September 4 but did not return home.
Their father, Joseph Kimani, said they started looking for them after they didn't return home on the second day and their phones went unanswered.
According to Kimani, the bodies of the young men were found next to Joska bridge a week after they went missing.
He has urged the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to speed up the murder investigations and apprehend the as-yet unidentified perpetrators.©Standard Gazette, 2021.
