A Sign Of Relief For A Kenyan Family As Their Lost Child Appears

On Sunday night, a family in Kenya erupted into a celebration mood after their 12-year-old daughter, who disappeared last week, resurfaced.

Stacy Wambui disappeared last week on Thursday while playing outside their Zimmerman home in Nairobi’s outskirts. Reports indicate she was greeted by a strange woman whom she followed o a nearby food joint where she was bought chips.

After a four-day of agonising search, the Grade four learner was found abandoned at Nairobi’s Githurai area by a good Samaritan.

The good Samaritan took her to a nearby police post where her parents managed to identify her.

The news of her appearance was received with joy by her parents alongside her neighbours.

Zimmerman residents are now calling on the government to help them trace other children who disappeared and are yet to be found.

The disappearance of children in the area and other parts of the country has been on the rise, and they fear the worst if the situation persists.

A report from the police seen by Standard Gazette shows that two suspects, a husband and a wife, linked with the disappearance of kids in the area, were arrested and are helping with investigations.
