Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers, in partnership with detectives from the Directorate Criminal Investigations (DCI), on Monday recovered a consignment of alcoholic drinks with fake KRA stamps in Makueni, Eastern part of the country.

The goods were recovered following a raid to the premises belonging to Daniel Musau in the ongoing government crackdown targeting traders engaging in tax evasion schemes.

“In a raid conducted by detectives yesterday at a store in Kikima market, over 3,000 bottles of alcoholic drinks bearing fake KRA stamps were recovered and confiscated,” stated the DCI.
