Bernard Mwalala Appointed Ulinzi FC Coach

The four-time Kenya Premier League winner Ulinzi FC has appointed Bernard Mwalala as its head coach ahead of the new season.

Mwalala has replaced Benjamin Nyangweso, who was sacked last season over a series of poor results. He will be assisted by Khamisi Abdalla Mohammed and Vincent Otieno.

He is expected to replicate the good performance witnessed last season while in charge of Kakamega Homeboyz. He helped Homeboyz finish in the second position, losing the title to Tusker FC on the season's final day.

Despite a scintillating performance at Homeboyz, he was shown the door over an alleged disciplinary, a claim he rubbished.

According to him, personal differences between him and Homeboyz owner Cleopas Shimanyula cost him the job.
He has also coached Nzoia Sugar and Bandari FC.
