A teacher has been found dead in his house in southwestern Kenya.
The body of Willis Onyango of Kameji Secondary School in Migori County was found by a guard who visited to check on him.
Upon the discovery, the guard alerted the school’s administration which informed the local chief Charles Boi.
According to Chief Boi, the body was found on the floor and did not have any visible injuries.
“We are yet to establish the cause of the death since he was staying alone at the staff quarters,” said Boi.
Mr. Boi then informed the police, who took the body to the morgue. An investigation has been launched to establish the cause of the teacher’s death.
Elsewhere, police are hunting for murder suspects alleged to have killed a middle-aged man on Sunday night in Nairobi’s Embakasi estate.
The deceased was reported to have engaged in a heated braw with his friends for unknown reasons. The suspects stabbed him to death before fleeing the scene.
