Police women from Bungoma County, Western Kenya, on Wednesday held a conference to discuss matters relating to women police officers.

Speaking during the conference-themed 'Resilience in Women', the chief guest Honourable Lady Justice Rose Ougo, acknowledged the contribution of women police officers in what is deemed a demanding and challenging profession.

She congratulated women police officers for providing a different dimension to policing as mothers and leaders in their own right, an achievement they should all be proud of.

The spectacular event allowed the women police officers in Bungoma County to network and strengthen bonds among themselves.
