Businessman Found Dead Inside His House Succumbed To Cardiac Arrest

The autopsy report conducted on the body of businessman Francis Kiambi who was found dead in his home in Karen, Nairobi, on January 9, is out.

Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor carried out the exercise.

Results show that Kiambi died from Cardiac Arrest occasioned by Coronary Artery disease due to excess cholesterol.

The businessman cum politician's death was reported by his wife, Mary Waigwe Muthoni, who informed police that they had spent some time at a Karen entertainment venue before returning home with her husband at about midnight on Sunday.

The duo reportedly got into a domestic fight after the wife allegedly declined to be the deceased's guarantor in securing a Ksh.2 billion ($20 million) loan he was seeking to open a business.

After the argument, the two allegedly went to separate bedrooms to sleep, but the 50-year-old tycoon was later discovered dead with vomit by his bedside.
