The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Boxing Challenge, known as the Bora Cup, has kicked off at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang'ata, Nairobi.
The three-day event aims at identifying new talents within different Formations and Bases in the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
Before the tournament, referees and judges held a clinic to set up match fixtures for the championship, make pre-evaluation checks in line with the current rules put in place by the Boxing Federation of Kenya (BFK) and register teams expected to participate in the championship.
Officials from BFK led by the Technical Director, Albert Matito, will oversee the entire championship, ensuring that current rules put in place by the federation are adhered to and that the entire championship is harmonized.
