The body of a Chinese national has been found in the bathroom of his hotel room in Lavington, Nairobi.
The body of Zhou Yadi, a manager at a construction company building the Lamu-Garissa highway, was found on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Reports indicate that a piece of cloth was tied around his neck, signalling that he was strangled.
Preliminary reports also show that the scene said it was messy and there were signs of struggle therein which probably led to the murder.
According to hotel staff, the deceased was booked into the room alone and how the killers found their way into the hotel is still a mystery.
The body was moved to the morgue pending a postmortem.
Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into the matter and so far, no arrest has been made.
The motive being the killing is still unknown.
