Justice Jairus Ngaah stated in his order that the case will be heard through written submissions.

He instructed Jomo to file his submissions within seven days and the respondents to file theirs within seven days of service.

The case will continue on September 27.

In a petition filed at Milimani Law Courts, Uhuru’s son wants the court to stop the Chief Licensing officer, the Firearms Licensing Board and the Attorney General from revoking his license without following the right procedure.

He said he has not been told the reasons for the intended revocation, even though his license is valid until April 2024.

Detectives raided Jomo’s home on July 21, searching for 28 guns they claimed were obtained illegally.

However, Uhuru Kenyatta dismissed the claims saying that his two sons, Jomo and Muhoho three guns each.

The government had confirmed raiding three residences in Nairobi’s Karen neighbourhood in search of 23 guns allegedly used in unlawful activities in the nation amid the ongoing anti-government protests.
