The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has condoled with detective Boniface Muganda's family, friends, and colleagues.
Muganda lost his life in a tragic hit-and-run road accident last Saturday night along the northern bypass in Nairobi.
In a message of condolence by the DCI chief on Tuesday morning, Amin Mohammed eulogized the late creative designer as a hardworking and self-driven officer who performed his duties diligently and was an inspiration to many people whom he interacted with.
Mr. Amin prayed to God to give the family of the deceased courage and peace during this difficult time of mourning.
Meanwhile, the Director has urged the team of detectives drawn from various forensic units tasked to investigate the incident to leave no stone unturned in establishing the cause of the accident and bring the suspect/s to book.
The deceased was a gifted Communications Officer whose photography, videography, and graphics design skills propelled him to head the creative design desk at the DCI's Comms unit.
The detective, who has previously served at the forensic photographic and acoustics unit, was the creative artist behind the latest edition of the DCI Magazine, among other assignments, including the coverage of the last of October 20, Mashujaa day celebrations at Uhuru gardens, Nairobi.©Standard Gazette, 2021.
